Saberr enables two important teamwork processes: regular reflection, through retrospective sessions, and creating a Team Charter, by guiding your team through a Purpose session and Expected Behaviours sessions.

Quick start: try a team session

The easiest way to get started is from the Toolbox.

Gather the team together in a room with a shared screen, or on a video call, and start one of the three interactive sessions. You'll need about an hour. The Retrospective is usually the easiest to get going with.

No preparation is needed before your first try, and you can set up your team afterwards.

Check out the guides in the Toolbox for all the details.

You can find sessions you've run in the past from your Activity feed.

Creating a team has three benefits:

  • Everybody in the team can review past sessions
  • Everybody can leave retrospective notes in advance of retrospective sessions, when they have time to think
  • You'll have a Team Charter that everybody can see and curate

To create a team, either visit the Teams tab, or if you've just finished a session you'll be prompted to create one at the end.

To link the outputs of a session to a team, visit the session via Your Activity, and clicked Link Team.

Make it regular: connect your retrospectives to your calendar

Reflection is best done regularly. Once you're ready to start doing retrospectives regularly, create a recurring calendar event in your normal calendar app (Google calendar help, Outlook calendar help).

From your team page in the Saberr Teams tab, click "Connect calendar event". This'll help make sure you run regular reflection exercises, with your team having time to think of discussion points in advance.
