Agreeing a purpose statement is a foundational part of building a team identity. CoachBot has a Purpose Session to walk teams through creating one.

Purpose statements help individuals feel connected to their team and organisation, so having as many of the team members as possible participate in the session is important. Over time a team’s purpose and members will change, and the purpose statement should be set after major changes.

The team’s actual purpose statement is private for them, but as a company admin you can see the date of the last purpose session and the participation rate for it.

The participation rate is based on how many team members contributed ideas using their phone or computer in the CoachBot session. Remember that other team members may have been present or contributed to the discussion without having or using their device.

Purpose sessions that happened before December 2018 were in a different format, and will always show "0% participation".
